Hello wiki people, I wanted to post a discussion thread due to people repeatedly editing the "Chilchuck's Wife" wiki page. The reason it is being frequently edited is that there seems to be two camps of wiki editors: editors who believe the black-haired daydream hour Half Foot should be used for the portrait of Chilchuck's Wife, and editors who think there should be no portrait. I think a concrete decision should be made by the wiki mods, or the community, regarding by what criteria the wiki page will be upheld (with a written clarification/warning on her wiki page) so that repeated edits no longer take place.
I'd also like to make a case for Chilchuck's Wife's wiki page to have NO portrait associated with it. The reason for this stems from the general purpose of a wiki: to give the most accurate information available on a topic to the reader. The Half Foot in Ryoko Kui's daydream hour has not been confirmed to be Chilchuck's Wife, and Ryoko Kui has said she does not intend to reveal her canon appearance. Depsite this, several users have been editing Chilchuck's Wife's wiki page to include this art to denotate her appearance due to it being widely accepted fanon. However, I think including any kind of fanon on a wiki page (especially at the forefront, for example in this case, where her portrait is what you see first) is deceptive to readers who do not have all the context. Listing her hair color and eye color as black when none of this has been confirmed, and is supposedly never going to be confirmed, gives the impression to the reader that this is actually canon information from Ryoko Kui.
In the most recent edit on the her wiki page, an editor stated that Ryoko Kui said in a recent Q&A that she would not be revealing Chilchuck's Wife's appearance, and that it was up to the reader to have their own interpretation. In my opinion, listing a popular fanon appearance and treating it as canon goes against those wishes.
But what do you all think? I'm curious to hear your opinions as well.
