Bladefish (刃魚 Hazakana?) are a type of monster in Delicious in Dungeon.
Anatomy and Appearance[]
Bladefish resemble flying fish, except that the fins on either side of their body are sharp, curved blades. They have a forked tail fin[1] and a light underbelly.[2]

Behavior and Weaknesses[]
Bladefish are some of the weakest monsters on the fourth floor (along with slimes), and are at the bottom of the food chain.[3]
The fish travel together in schools, and can jump out of the water in order to attack adventurers. A well placed spell[4] or strike of the sword should be enough to take them down.[1]
They are also hunted by Mermen,[2] and likely Mermaids as well.[3]
Culinary Usage[]
Bladefish can be eaten, just like ordinary fish. Known methods used to prepare them are boiling, baking, steaming, drying, smoking and even simply raw.[3]
