Shapeshifter -1- is the thirty-ninth chapter of the Delicious in Dungeon manga.
Summary[]
The party, following a trail of Falin's blood, continues downwards to the sixth level of the dungeon. Once they reach the sixth level, they discover that the previously hot level has suddenly become very cold. Since the snow has made tracking Falin's trail impossible, the party decides to head for the place where they were previously wiped out by the Red Dragon. Laios reveals that he has seen the Lunatic Magician before, in one of the Living Paintings, and reveals his plan to deal with them.
The snowstorm suddenly becomes much worse, so the members of the party grab each others' hands and head for shelter. However, when they arrive, they discover that they've been joined by a group of shapeshifters - three for each member of the party. In order to root out the shapeshifters, they need to discover which ones are fake. Laios' fakes are easily spotted, and so are one from each of the others. Another three shapeshifters are rooted out after everyone examines their belongings. However, the last shapeshifter is hard to find. In order to discover who is real and who is fake, Laios proposes that they make a meal, and he will determine the fakes by his powers of observation.
