Daya (ダイア Daia?)[4] is a member of Kabru's party.
Appearance[]
Daya is a Dwarven[5] warrior with straw-brown hair worn in plaits and a fringe that covers her eyes.[6] She typically wears a fur-lined tunic, shin guards and sandals,[7] and her primary weapon is an axe.[8]
Personality[]
Because she was born and raised far away from civilization as a guardian of a dungeon, her personality can sometimes come off as a bit detached.[3]

Kabru[]
"Good at maneuvering socially"
Like the other members of his party, Daya has full trust in Kabru as a competent leader, believing him to be the only one fit to be in charge of the Island.[9] Kabru appears to act quite gentlemanly towards Daya.[10] She agrees with his goal of exploring the dungeon in order to eliminate both monsters and the dungeon themselves.[3]
Holm[]
She spends a lot of time with Holm, who is nearest to her in age, but the two of them to aren't all that especially close.[11] In the battle with Falin (Chimera), Daya gets choked by her. It does not kill her, as Holm's undine interrupts it by attacking Falin. [12]
Namari[]
Because the actions of Namari's father caused the reputation of dwarves to drop sharply among the people of the Island, Daya too had a fair amount of difficulty forming a party. For that reason, despite never having met Namari, she has a pretty bad impression of her. [3]
Abilities[]
Daya fights using an axe which she wields with one hand. Her fighting style has been described as 'overpowering' by her leader Kabru.[13]
Trivia[]
- Daya is named after diamonds. This is similar to how Namari's name means lead in Japanese.
- Her favorite food is Boar meat.[3]
- Her least favorite food is garlic.[3]
- Her first cause of death within a dungeon was being strangled by a man-eating plant.[3]
