Doni (ドニ?) is a novice adventurer exploring the dungeon on the Island.
Appearance[]
Doni is a young Tall-man male with tanned skin, brown eyes, and black hair. He wears a basic set of brown leather armor, an off-white shirt, brown pants, dark brown boots, and a leather helmet.[1]
Personality[]
Not much is known about Doni other than that he is an inexperienced, adventurous young man who wished to experience the great wide world.[1]
Relationships[]
Fionil[]
Fionil is one of Doni's party members. Not much is known about how Doni feels about Fionil but he was startled when he realized Fionil was an elf.[1]
Laios Touden[]
Doni is indebted to Laios due to the fact that Laios' team had saved him and Fionil from being killed by a basilisk.[2]
Kabru and his party[]
Not much is known about Doni's relationship to Kabru and his party, though Kabru's party appear to be acquainted and well aware of Doni and Fionil's adventuring skill level.[3]
Plot[]
Before the Events of the Story[]
Doni belonged to a family of farmers, but due to his dreams of exploration, he left home and traveled to the Island. He propositioned basically every adventurer he came across until he formed a party.[1]
Second Floor Arc[]
Three months after Doni and his party first enter the dungeon,[4] they are spotted by Laios' party on the second floor of the dungeon, having a breakfast of grilled salted pork and bread.[5]
Later, Laios' party come across him and Fionil being chased by a basilisk, with Doni getting slashed across the back and poisoned.[6] Laios' team and Fionil spend the night caring for the rapidly deteriorating Doni, feeding the antidote to him and assisting with some healing magic.[2]
As Laios' party departs, Doni asks Laios for some advice on getting stronger, and is given some practical tips by Senshi.[7] However, Doni's party are unfortunately not strong enough and three days later are promptly defeated by some Man-eating Plants.[8]
New Dungeon Lord Arc[]
Doni is later seen overhearing the news that someone from Laios' party had become the new dungeon lord.[9]
After the Events of the Story[]
He decided to stay in Merini with Fionil, and begun work as a farmer.[1]
Trivia[]
- His favorite food is ham.[1]
- He has no particular dislikes for food.[1]
- His first death in a dungeon was asphyxiation due to slime.[1]
