Delicious in Dungeon Wiki

Dullahan (デュラハン Dyurahan?) are a type of monster in Delicious in Dungeon.

Anatomy and Appearance[]

Dullahan are headless knight spirits that are harbingers of death.[1] They look like a giant headless suit of armor, wielding a broadsword[2]and a whip, and wearing a tattered cape.[3] They normally ride on a horse.[1]

Behavior and Weaknesses[]

Dullahan will use the broadsword they carry to attack their foes.[3] This appears to put their victims on the verge of death, causing their life to flash before their eyes,[4]

Culinary Usage[]

As Dullahan are spirits in armor, they are, by nature, inedible.

Trivia[]

  • In Irish mythology, a Dullahan is a dark spirit that generally takes the form of a headless horseman or a headless coachman. It would generally carry its on head, which had a revolting appearance under its arm. In cases where it is seen as a coachman, the coach is referred to as the cóiste bodhar, and seeing it is a sign of misfortune or death. In addition, Irish mythology treats Dullahans as immortal fairies of the Tuatha Dé Danann, rather than undead.
