Dullahan (デュラハン, Dyurahan^?) are a type of monster in Delicious in Dungeon.

Anatomy and Appearance

Dullahan are headless knight spirits that are harbingers of death. They look like a giant headless suit of armor, wielding a broadswordand a whip, and wearing a tattered cape. They normally ride on a horse.

Behavior and Weaknesses

Dullahan will use the broadsword they carry to attack their foes. This appears to put their victims on the verge of death, causing their life to flash before their eyes,

Culinary Usage

As Dullahan are spirits in armor, they are, by nature, inedible.

• In Irish mythology, a Dullahan is a dark spirit that generally takes the form of a headless horseman or a headless coachman. It would generally carry its on head, which had a revolting appearance under its arm. In cases where it is seen as a coachman, the coach is referred to as the cóiste bodhar, and seeing it is a sign of misfortune or death. In addition, Irish mythology treats Dullahans as immortal fairies of the Tuatha Dé Danann, rather than undead.
