Eodio (エオディオ, Eodio^?) is the son of Delgal and the father of Yaad.

Appearance

As a child, Eodio looked much like his son Yaad, with pale eyes and pale hair cut in a bob. He looked much the same when he became an adult and later grew a short beard.

His signature outfit was a black hat with a feather in it, a capelet and a dark tunic, under which he wore a long-sleeved white shirt, white pants and boots. This is also how the doll in Thistle's house sitting in Eodio's place at the dining table is dressed.

History

As a child, Eodio was extremely ill, to the point that even a doctor could not heal him. In addition, the country his father Delgal ruled over was plagued with famine with their enemies surrounding them, ready to attack. With the court magician Thistle's discovery of an ancient tome, however, these problems were solved and Eodio was also able to recover.

In time he grew up and had a son named Yaad. While Yaad was still young, Eodio had an argument with Thistle about his questionable decisions in ruling the dungeon, which ended with Eodio's declaration of leaving the kingdom and taking the others with him. Furious, Thistle then forcibly separated Eodio's body and soul.

It is unknown as to what happened to Eodio's soul; however, the Winged Lion states that Delgal used his son's body to make it to the surface, where he made the declaration that started the investigation of the dungeon, after which Eodio's body then crumbled to dust, freeing Delgal's soul.
