Red Dragon III/Good Medicine (炎竜3/良薬 Reddo doragon 3/Ryōyaku?) is the thirteenth episode of the Delicious in Dungeon TV anime series.
Synopsis[]
Finally, Laios succeeded in reviving Falin. Senshi is faced with a large amount of Red Dragon meat and wonders how to cook it. However, the joy of their reunion is short-lived, Falin wakes up and slips out of her bed in a daze, as if someone is controlling her. In search of the missing Falin, Laios heads for the carcass of the Red Dragon. There he finds the elven sorcerer who had previously tried to kill him in a Living Painting.[1]
Summary[]
Falin sleepwalks back to the dragon corpse where the elf is angry she failed to locate Lord Delgal. Laios recognizes the elf as the one from the Living Picture Monsters, now revealed as the insane sorcerer who built the dungeon. The elf uses similar ancient magic as Marcille and forces everyone to fall into a cellar below ground. As her body is made of dragon flesh the elf is able to transform Falin into a new form to locate Delgal. The group are captured by another tribe of orcs led by Chief Zon’s sister. She reveals the elf is the dungeon master who can control it using the Grimoire he carries. As Marcille and Laios are unconscious Chilchuck suggests lying to them so they agree to return to the surface instead of saving Falin. Zon’s sister is disgusted but agrees to take him to retrieve his belongings so he can leave alone. Chilchuck notices the dragon corpse has now disappeared entirely. Zon’s sister coaxes him to recount the story of how they killed the dragon. The story causes Chilchuck to realize he isn’t afraid for his own life, he is afraid of having to watch his friends die. After retrieving everyone’s belongings he tries to convince Laios to return to the surface, tell the local Lord what happened, and return with more adventurers to stop the elf together. When Senshi agrees this is the best way to rescue Falin Laios reluctantly agrees to return to the surface.
