Dumplings -2-/Bacon and Eggs (ダンプリング2/ベーコンエッグ Danpuringu2/Bēkon eggu?) is the twenty-fourth and final episode of the first season of the Delicious in Dungeon TV anime series.
Synopsis[]
Laios and his friends took on the form of other races due to the influence of changelings. Unsure of how to return to their original state, they continue through the dungeon in their unfamiliar bodies. Chilchuck wonders why changelings, which are supposed to be useful for taking the form of other races, are not sold in the market. Meanwhile, gargoyles attack Laios and his friends.[1]
Summary[]
Laios wonders if the mushrooms are powerful enough to transform Falin back to human. Gargoyles attack again and in the chaos Laios' sword is transformed. Marcille realises everyone is covered in mushroom spores and by holding hands to form a circle they become a magic circle of Changeling mushrooms. The gargoyles are turned into harmless statues and the group quickly wash off the spores hoping they will return to normal. Senshi makes more dumplings but uses spores to transform them into different dumpling varieties for fun. The next morning everyone is back to normal so they explore the dwarf stronghold and get stuck in a trolley that automatically sets off even deeper into the dungeon. Senshi comes up with the idea that to separate Falin from the dragon and make her human they might need to cut off her dragon body parts then eat them to stop them healing and reattaching to Falin. Laios worries with her size that could take years to accomplish, unless they ask for help from other parties and everyone they’ve met in the dungeon. Regardless they must first find the winged lion. Above, Kabru, Namari and Shuro enter the dungeon, as do the Canaries.
