Fleki (フレキ, Fureki^?) is an elf who is a member of Captain Mithrun's squad of Canaries.

Appearance

Fleki has wavy, shoulder-length hair and messy bangs, as well as notches in both of her ears like the other Canaries indicating conviction of having used black magic. She typically wears a short tunic with a belt and ankle boots, and the same high collar as the others, as well as a falconry glove.

Personality

Fleki is described as having a 'peculiar attitude' as well as a sharp tongue, she is usually quite loud and energetic, and is not above making jokes or laughing at others. Unlike the other canary prisoners, she has absolutely no interest in ancient magic, and only got involved with its use/trade for the sake of earning money.

She is also a rampant drug addict, noted by Lycion to basically always spend all of her money on hallucinogenic mushrooms as soon as she gets paid. She has a habit of taking drugs and then taking control of her bird familiar, claiming that it lets her fly around in the 'real world' where everything is vivid and dazzling to the point where it makes her want to cry. She calls reality 'garbage' in comparison.

Abilities

Fleki's specialty revolves around summoning magic, specifically, commanding a number of different bird-like familiars, including a shadowy black bird with a curly tail, three small round white birds, and three larger white crow-like birds.

Relationships

Mithrun

"I don't get him and he's hilarious."

Like the other canaries, Fleki has a hard time judging how much personal space Mithrun wants since he lacks desires, so it can make things awkward between them.

Lycion

"Close friend"

Out of all the other canaries, Fleki is closest with Lycion, they seem to talk often, and are both quite casual with each other.

Otta

Fleki is shown (along with Lycion) to be in a close friend group with Otta and the three seemingly hang out often in their off-hours to talk and joke around. That being said, Fleki jokingly or otherwise refers to Otta as a pedophile, due to the latter's penchant for dating (comparatively) young Half-Foot women, as well as breaking up with them before they turn 30.

• Her convictions are possession and selling ancient magical items. For these she was sentenced to 240 years in prison.
