Griffins (グリフィン, Gurifin^?) are a type of monster in Delicious in Dungeon.

Anatomy and Appearance

Griffins are large monsters that have the front half of an eagle-like bird and the back half of a lion. Their bodies are extraordinarily efficient, with sharp beaks and talons, strong wings, flexible bodies with high maneuverability and the ability to generate explosive amounts of power.

Behavior and Weaknesses

Griffins are carnivores. They can be extremely patient. They primarily hunt close to their territory and are unlikely to venture further away. Their primary weapons are their front talons and beak. It is implied that they hunt and capture prey to eat immediately. Outmaneuvering a griffin is near impossible.

Culinary Usage

Griffin meat is edible. However, it is tough, fairly gamy and has an awful aftertaste.
