Harpies (ハーピー Hāpī?) are a type of monster in the manga Delicious in Dungeon.
Anatomy and Appearance[]
Harpies resemble human-sized birds with the torsos and head of a female human.[1] It is currently unknown if they are a single-sex species, or if male harpies exist.
There exists a seabird variant sub-species of harpy called, Sirens. Their wings and tail resemble that of a seagull's.[2]

Behavior and Weaknesses[]
Harpies tend to gather in flocks to taunt and attack adventurers by swooping at them with their claws.[1] Skilled adventurers will have no trouble defeating them.[3]
They also lay eggs.[4]
Culinary Usage[]
Harpy eggs are edible,[4] though it is best not to think about eating harpies themselves because of the moral implications of their resemblance to people.
