Ice Golems (アイスゴーレム Aisugōremu?) are a type of monster in Delicious in Dungeon.
Anatomy and Appearance[]
Much like Golems, Ice Golems consist of a core which controls them and enables them to move[1], however their humanoid bodies are instead made out of ice.[2]

Behavior and Weaknesses[]
The behavior of Ice Golems does not differ significantly from that of golems - they appear to be designed for defensive purposes and will attack those whom they sense are nearby.[3] They are, however, able to roar fairly loud, which has not been demonstrated by the dirt-based golems.[1] This by itself does not do any damage, but can cause icicles to fall down and injure those below.[4] In addition, they appear to lie dormant until activated by magic,[5] unlike golems which activate some time after the insertion of their cores.[6]
Like Golems, the only way to defeat them is to remove or damage their core.[3]
Culinary Usage[]
As Ice Golems are primarily composed of ice (i.e. water), they can be used in much the same way as ice or water in recipes.[7] In addition, anything edible frozen inside an Ice Golem can be used as an ingredient too.[8]
Ice Golems and things frozen inside them have been used in the following dishes:
Trivia[]
- The Ice Golem encountered by Laios' party exists due to Senshi in the past accidentally dropping a golem core down a drain while preparing his golem vegetable fields, which eventually flowed down to the sixth level and became frozen in ice.[1]
