  • Giant Frog thigh meat (1)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Coating (flour, bread crumbs, water; as needed)
  • Butter (50 grams)
  • Onion (1 med. size)

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • In Japan, there is a tradition of eating tonkatsu (a similarly breaded, deep-fried pork cutlet) or katsudon (rice topped with tonkatsu) the night before major exams. This is because katsu (the shortened form of katsuretsu meaning 'cutlet') is a homophone for the verb 'to win' (勝つ, katsu).[3]
