Dish[]
Soul Eggs Benedict[]
Ingredients (serves 5)
- Bread (1 loaf)
- Harpy egg (1)
- Barometz (120 g)
- Cockatrice egg yolk (1)
- Butter (50 g)
- Seasonings (as needed)
- Lemon juice (if available)[2]
Trivia[]
- The dish is called Soul Eggs Benedict due to it being made while Senshi was theorising about the properties of souls by comparing them to eggs, due to Marcille comparing souls to eggs when first meeting Izutsumi, via explaining how eggs behave quite differently when being cooked in different ways while preparing poached eggs and hollandaise sauce.
- An example Senshi uses, that being emulsification, could be a commentary on how Falin's soul and the soul of the Red Dragon or Izutsumi's soul and the soul of a beast are fused together as emulsification is a cooking technique for combining two or more liquids that usually cannot mix, such as oil and water.
