The Tansu Party consists of adventuring companions, led by Mr. Tansu, that journey together in the dungeon.
History[]
Before the Events of the Story[]
The Tansu Party has been operating on the Island for some time; most recently it has been sponsored by a Tall-man lord who received lands from the Elf King and wants reports from Tansu about the situation inside the Dungeon. His motivation is at least in part worry about the possibility of losing his lands to the Western Elves.[1]
Their mission led Mr. Tansu to learning of and taking an interest in Magic Circles written in Elvish that are found inside the Dungeon, and which he credits with the expansion of the Dungeon.[1]
The pays well and is generally considerate and generous with its members,[2][1] but expects considerable willingness from its hired help to undergo even fatal risks. On the other hand, it also has access to effective resurrection magic and uses it quickly when a party member is lost.
Mr. Tansu has concluded that a soul-binding spell that makes it impossible to actually die inside the Dungeon is present inside its entire environment, and considers the opportunity to learn it a treasure more valuable than anything else that might actually be inside.[2][1]
Mr. Tansu recruited Namari into the party soon after the story began, having been aware of rumors of dissatisfaction with the goals and payment in Laios' Party.[3]
Fourth Floor Arc[]
Tansu's Party first meets Laios' Party by reaching them while they are in the Fourth Floor, cooking Kelpie and considering their options to pass through an Undine. They had apparently met the still unconscious members of Kabru's Party shortly before.[2]
Namari and her former companions are surprised and pleased by the meeting and exchange some talk. Namari introduces both Parties to each other and they briefly fight together against the Tentacles, with Mr. Tansu promising to help heal Marcille in exchange.[2]
Namari soon ends up helping in the fight against the Undine, with Mr. Tansu's tacit approval. Still, Namari decides to remain with Tansu's group for the time being.[3]
