Zon (ゾン?) is the chieftain of the orcs in the dungeon on the Island.
Appearance[]
Zon is tall orc with sturdy build. He has tan skin, straight, long, dark brown hair pulled into a low ponytail, and body hair on his shoulders, chest and navel. He has a snout-like nose, exposed bottom fangs, a tail, and two short horns protruding from his forehead, indicating his orc background.
Personality[]
He has animosity towards tall-men and elves due to them slaughtering orcs and colonizing their land. Having nowhere else to go, his tribe was forced to live within the dungeon.[2] In the public eye he advocates for the elimination of dungeon adventurers, but understands that it's likely to not happen.[3]
Relationships[]
Senshi[]
He appears to care deeply for Senshi and the vegetables that Senshi trades to the Orcs. Despite this, he nearly makes the choice to kill Senshi and the others to protect his village. He gives the Touden party a map to the Red Dragon after Senshi and the party share a meal with him and earn his trust.

Zon is shown to care deeply about keeping his word in front of his son, or perhaps does not want to set a bad example for the future leader of the tribe. Zon is protective of him and rest of the village.

After the revival of Merini, Zon now lives there and still serves as the chieftain of the orcs.[4]
